Benjamin Kanarek "BK"

Vogue Brazil "Ulan Bator"

Magnificent work! The clothes, make up.. the amazing way Benjamin Kanarek did shoot those pictures! The models almost look like if they were perfect wax dolls in a perfect imaginary world!
BK has also a blog, read it here "BK blog" or watch the making of this art here

Benjamin Kanarek talkes a little bit about how he began with photography here. He started at the beginning to study architecture and suddenly how he literally fell into this trade. You never know where you are going to be! But you can affect where you would want to be now!

I don´t know where to begin, I totally adore this artist! How could anybody draw like that? I´ve seen those a lot, but yet it´s like if it was for the first time. I enjoy the colors, try to learn and understand her techniques.. Wow this is one of many reasons to love life! "Art is the way"!!

Art And The City

Unknown art, so cute! There is no limit for our imagination!

Street art on a buildingwall that I shoot in Stavanger city, Norway. It really captured my eyes! Beautiful!

Me in front of a cool graffiti wall made by "Ollio" at the street Första Långgatan in Gothenburg.

Sawsan Tawfik

I visited this artists vernissage a few months ago, she was very happy to show her paintings that are reflections of her internal and deepest thoughts.

This is her biggest hobby and she is self-taught, she is very humble and don´t approve herself as an artist. - "This is just a way to find internal peace, I´m not an artist" I didn´t agree, because art is a way to express a feeling or thought! I don´t believe people need degrees in everything! People can show feelings in different ways!

It was interesting to hear about what she wanted to express through the paintings.. and some things she said moved me and made me think about how many important things we take for granted in life, and that we should take care of and appreciate more!

In this artwork the artist want to raise the question about why women often hide and don´t value themselves. They are mostly in the background of many issues in the world! Women should´nt be ashamed of their thoughts and don´t be afraid to talk about them.. last but not least to appreciate their beauty and be proud of it!

Women are always beautiful. ~Ville Valo

The rarest thing in the world is a woman who is pleased with photographs of herself. ~Elizabeth Metcalf

Men who don't like girls with brains don't like girls. ~Mignon McLaughlin, The Second Neurotic's Notebook, 1966

They may talk of a comet, or a burning mountain, or some such bagatelle; but to me a modest woman, dressed out in all her finery, is the most tremendous object of the whole creation. ~Oliver Goldsmith
